Alex Blackwood

Alex Blackwood is the 29-year-old co-founder and CEO of mogul, a real estate investment startup. He previously worked at Goldman Sachs, making $250,000 a year. Alex says it is more rewarding to be a startup founder compared to working 100-hour weeks as a real estate investing associate for another company. Alex started his company after buying a property for the first time and realizing how capital and time-intensive it was. At the end of the transaction, he knew there had to be a better way to own real estate. As CEO of mogul, Alex says he plays the part of a lawyer, an accountant, an investor, and a marketer.
